Maryland started the weekend out strong at the Aquafina Invitational — beating Iowa State, 9-5, in their first game on Friday — before losses to Georgia Southern, Illinois State and two to No. 1 Florida pushed the Terps’ record to 3-11 on the season.
After dropping four of their first five games last weekend, the Terps hope to regain momentum at the Auburn Invitational in Alabama.
