The Maryland softball team (10-19) begins Big Ten play this weekend after opening the season with six non-conference tournaments. First up are the Penn State Nittany Lions, which the Terps will take on at State College on Saturday and Sunday.
The Maryland softball team (10-19) clinched a 7-6 victory over Hawai’i Sunday to cap off the Rainbow Wahine Classic. With the win, the Terps secured their first winning weekend — in their final non-conference tournament of the season.
The second-ranked Maryland men’s lacrosse team (5-1) almost fell victim to losing another fourth-quarter lead to Villanova on Saturday, before ultimately defeating the sixth-ranked Wildcats 13-11.
The Terps split their first two games in the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii, their final non-conference tournament of the season. After dropping the opener to Tennessee, 7-1, Maryland earned a 5-4 victory against Cleveland State.
