When Tyler Baylor announced his commitment to the University of Maryland, he added to what was already a momentous day for the Terps.
Earlier Tuesday morning, the Terps started training camp and also received a commitment from three-star receiver Darryl Jones.

Baylor chose the Terps over Kentucky, Georgia, Louisville along with other schools.
The 6-foot-4 220-pound defensive end is the no.11 player in Maryland and the no.22 defensive end in the state of Maryland, per 247Sports. He’s the 18th commit in the 2018 recruiting class and the 14th commit from the DMV area.
Baylor attends Maryland powerhouse Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney, Maryland. With this commitment, Maryland football now moves up two spots from 19th to 17th according to 247Sports team rankings.
He is the first defensive end in the 2018 class to commit to the Terps. With this commitment, the Terps will now be in full pursuit of four-star defensive ends Eyabi Anomi and Thomas Booker.
