The University of Maryland landed a pair of four-star DeMatha linemen Saturday Morning.
Austin Fontaine, a defensive tackle, and Evan Gregory, an offensive lineman, are the first four-star prospects in the class of 2018 for the Terps. They are the fourth and fifth signees in Maryland’s 2018 class.
Fontaine told Rivals he felt that College Park would be “good environment” for him. He also said that he plans on majoring in business and Maryland has a good program.

Gregory told Rivals, “I picked Maryland because it’s close to home.”

The duo has been teammates since playing youth football and committed to Maryland together.
Both told Rivals that the number of current DeMatha players on the team were not huge factors, but Fontaine did say that Anthony McFarland and Marcus Minor, two Terp freshmen who recently graduated from DeMatha, were talking to him about the school.
The Terps now have three commits for their front seven on the defensive side of the ball.
