After notching their fourth win against a top-10 opponent this season Wednesday night against Princeton, the No. 1 Maryland Terrapins (14-0) undefeated season rolls on as they face Ohio State (6-9) in College Park Saturday at noon on Senior Day.

Maryland will honor nine seniors before the game. This class of seniors has guided the Terps to two National Championships and an astounding record of 80-3 over their four seasons.

While the seniors will be the main focus Saturday, it has been freshman Kali Hartshorn who has led the way for the Terps the last two games with an offensive outburst, scoring 11 goals.

The Terps are 3-0 in Big Ten play this season, having scored 19 goals per game and winning those contests by a margin of 12.67 goals per game.

Ohio State has been quite the opposite of Maryland in conference play. The Buckeyes come into this matchup without a conference win at 0-4.

They are currently on a four game losing streak, including two conference losses to Penn State and Northwestern, seceding 31 goals combined in those two games.

Ohio State’s defense will not be getting a break Saturday, as their 65th ranked scoring defense (12.13 goals per game) will be up against the 2nd best scoring offense in the country; an offense that put up 18 goals against Ellie DeGarmo, the leader in saves per game and second in save percentage in the country.

The Buckeyes are led by Molly Wood, who has tallied a team-high 41 goals and 47 points in total.

The Terps will look to get their 61st win in a row at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.
The game will be broadcast on Big Ten Network Plus.
