Lakeland (Fla.) four-star running back A.J. Davis signed with Pittsburgh on ESPNU Wednesday.

Davis is the No. 19 running back in the country and No. 34 player in Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He joins the nation’s No. 32 ranked class, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back chose the Panthers over USF, Louisville and Missouri, among others.

Lakeland (Fla.) four-star wide receiver James Robinson committed to Florida, the school announced on Twitter.

Robinson is the No. 14 wide receiver in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment gives the Gators the No. 10 class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound receiver chose Florida over Ohio State and Oklahoma, among others.

Roswell (Ga.) three-star cornerback Justus Harris signed with Minnesota Wednesday, the team announced on Twitter.

Harris is the No. 182 cornerback in the country and No. 185 player in Georgia, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He joins the nation’s No. 57 ranked class, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound corner chose Minnesota over Cincinnati, Vanderbilt and Rutgers, among others.

Clinton (Miss.) three-star athlete Kam’ron White signed with Ole Miss, according to the Ole Miss Football twitter account.

White is the No. 9 player in Mississippi, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment gives Ole Miss the No. 32 class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.
The 6-foot-2, 203 pound athlete chose Ole Miss over Alabama, Minnesota, Iowa State, and Arkansas.

Plaquemine (La.) four-star safety Todd Harris signed with LSU, he announced on ESPN.

Harris is the No. 3 overall player in Louisiana and No. 86 overall, according to the 247Sports rankings.

The 6-foot 180-pound safety chose LSU over Alabama, Arizona State and TCU.
Harris is part of LSU’s 6th ranked recruiting class according to 247Sports Team Rankings.

Starkville (Miss.) four-star outside linebacker Willie Gay signed with Mississippi State, he announced live on MaxPreps.

 

Gay is the No. 2 outside linebacker in the Country, and No. 73 overall, according to the 247Sports rankings.

The 6-foot-1, 223-pound outside linebacker chose Mississippi State over LSU, Ole Miss, and Michigan.

Amite (La.) four-star wide receiver DeVonta Smith has committed to Alabama, he announced at his school on Wednesday.

Smith is the No. 9 wide receiver in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment further strengthens the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound receiver chose Alabama over LSU, Miami and Florida State.

Westlake (Ga.) four-star outside linebacker Jaden Hunter signed with Georgia Wednesday morning, according to the team’s Twitter account.

 

Hunter is the No. 9 outside linebacker in the country and No. 13 player in Georgia, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He joins the No. 3 class in the country, according to 247Sports Team Rankings.
The 6-foot-2, 212-pound linebacker verbally committed to Georgia Jan. 25, 2016. He chose the Bulldogs over Alabama, Auburn and Clemson, among others.

James Clemens (AL) five-star defensive end LaBryan Ray committed to Alabama, he announced on Wednesday.

Ray is the No. 1 strong-side defensive end in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. With his commitment, the Crimson Tide remain the No. 1 class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-4, 260 pound defensive lineman chose Alabama over Florida and Tennessee.

Columbus (Fla.) four-star cornerback Christopher Henderson signed with Florida Wednesday morning, Gators’ head coach Jim McElwain announced on Twitter.

 

Henderson is the No. 15 cornerback in the country and No. 24 player in Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He joins the No. 14 ranked class in the country, according to 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound corner chose Florida over Miami (FL), Tennessee and Auburn, among others.

Robert E. Lee (Ala.) four-star wide receiver Henry Ruggs III signed with Alabama.

Ruggs is the No. 11 wide receiver in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He adds even more talent to an Alabama recruiting class that was already ranked No. 1 in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings

The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver chose Alabama over Florida State.

Crisp County High School (Ga.) four-star weak side defensive end Markaviest Bryant has signed with Auburn, he announced at his school Wednesday morning.

The 6-foot-4, 226-pound end is the No. 14 weak-side defensive end in the nation and the No. 18 player in the state of Georgia, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Bryant’s decision to sign with Auburn came as a bit of surprise, as LSU and Georgia were considered to be his top choices. Bryant was also considering Alabama.

Bryant’s commitment gives Auburn the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

In another Signing Day surprise, LaFayette (Ala.) High School three-star athlete JaTarvious Whitlow has decided to join the Auburn Tigers.

Whitlow told AL.com in January he would choose among Tulane, UAB, Troy and Georgia Southern. 247Sports gave Auburn a 20 percent shot in their Crystal Ball predictions.

Whitlow will reportedly be a wide receiver and punt returner for the Tigers. He was LaFayette’s starting quarterback as well as playing running back, wideout and safety.

The Left Bench spoke with Whitlow in October about his recruiting and experiences in football.

Whitlow is the No. 6 athlete and No. 26 overall recruit in Alabama, and 247Sports gave him an individual rating of four stars. Some colleges were recruiting Whitlow as a quarterback, but Auburn was not.

St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Michael Harley committed to Miami (FL), he announced on CBS Sports Network.

Harley is the No. 42 wide receiver in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment gives the Hurricanes the No. 16 class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 5-foot-9, 155-pound receiver chose Miami (FL) over West Virginia and Michigan.

Lee County High School (Ga.) five-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon committed to Michigan, he announced live on ESPNU.

Solomon is the No. 2 defensive tackle in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment gives Michigan the No. 4 class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-3, 288-pound defensive tackle chose Michigan over Alabama and Georgia.

Lanier (Ga.) four-star linebacker Tyler Taylor has committed to LSU, he announced at his school on Wednesday.

Taylor is the No. 11 middle linebacker in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment gives the Tigers the No. 6 ranked class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-2, 230 pound linebacker chose LSU over Auburn and Oklahoma.

American Heritage (Fla.) four-star offensive guard Tedarrelle Slaton committed to Florida, he announced at a ceremony at his high school on Wednesday.

Slaton is the No. 3 guard in the country but the Gators are planning to bring him in as a defensive tackle, according to 247Sports. His commitment gives Florida the No. 19 class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-5, 360 pound offensive lineman chose Florida over Florida State and Michigan.

Brookwood (Ga.) four-star linebacker Leonard Warner signed with Florida State, he announced this morning.

Warner is the No. 8 middle linebacker in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment gives the Seminoles the No. 5 ranked class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

The 6-foot-4, 226-pound linebacker chose Florida State over Stanford and Georgia.
