Damonte Dodd will miss the next three games with a sprained MCL in his left knee, per Roman Stubbs of the Washington Post.

Dodd will be reevaluated after the Jacksonville State game on Monday.

The center injured his knee in practice last Monday and had an MRI Tuesday.

Ivan Bender is expected play against Howard after missing Saturday’s game against Oklahoma State with a bruised left knee.

Dodd is coming off a 12-point, eight-rebound performance versus the Cowboys in which his play was vital for Maryland’s second-half comeback.

This is Dodd’s second injury of the season. He missed the game against Stony Brook on Nov. 22 with a concussion.
