The Dotted Line: Lawtez Rogers commits to Maryland

Three-star defensive end Lawtez Rogers has committed to the University of Maryland, he announced on Thursday via Twitter.

The news for Maryland comes a few days after five-star defensive end Joshua Kaindoh announced his de-commitment from the program.

As the 26th ranked player in the state, according to 24/7Sports, Rogers is now the second defensive lineman to commit to the Terps for the class of 2017, joining four-star defensive tackle Cam Spence.

More good news could be coming Maryland’s way as five-star offensive lineman Calvin Ashley took an official visit to College Park on Thursday. Ashley has verbally committed to Auburn, but appears open to changing his mind.
