The Dotted Line: Troy Brown Jr. commits to Oregon

Five-star forward Troy Brown Jr. from Centennial High School in Las Vegas committed to the University of Oregon on Monday afternoon. Brown, who announced his decision through a video that was tweeted out by Bleacher Report, chose the Ducks over Alabama, Georgetown, Kansas and Ohio State. His commitment comes two days before recruits can officially sign with their future colleges.

Brown averaged 19 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists during the 2015-2016 high school season and was recognized as an All-State player.

His commitment along with those of four-star players Victor Bailey and Abu Kigab has given Oregon the No. 9 ranked recruiting class in the country according to 247sports.

Once he signs, Brown will become the second-highest ranked recruit ever to land at Oregon.
